Actress Jennifer Lawrence has revealed in a new interview that she was going to end her unborn baby’s life in an abortion but the baby tragically died in a miscarriage before she had the chance.
Lawrence, a longtime abortion advocate who celebrates ending the lives of unborn children who women just don’t want, told Vogue that she “one hundred percent intended” to go though with the abortion but the baby died.
In the interview with the magazine, she condemned the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade — claiming it forces women to get pregnant and have babies. Never mind that women can easily abstain from sex if they don’t want to get pregnant and lots of contraception and birth control options are available.
“I remember a million times thinking about it while I was pregnant. Thinking about the things that were happening to my body. And I had a great pregnancy. I had a very fortunate pregnancy. But every single second of my life was different,” she told Vogue. “And it would occur to me sometimes: What if I was forced to do this?”
This isn’t the first time Lawrence has promoted abortion.
Last October, Lawrence and Amy Schumer told their fans Saturday that “women can’t be free” without the legal right to abort their unborn babies. They participated in the Women’s March with thousands of other abortion activists, calling for legalized abortion on demand and taxpayer-funded abortions, Yahoo News reports. The theme for the march was “Rally for Abortion Justice.”
Schumer posted a photo of them together on Instagram, Lawrence visibly pregnant while holding a pro-abortion sign. Schumer’s sign read, “Abortion is essential” and Lawrence held a sign that stated, “Women can’t be free if they can’t control their bodies.”
In 2016, Lawrence praised the abortion chain Planned Parenthood for her success, saying: “And I wouldn’t have been able to get birth control if it weren’t for Planned P. I wouldn’t have been able to get condoms and birth control and all these things I needed as a normal teenager who was growing up in a Jesus house. … And now I am a successful woman who has not had a pregnancy.”
