Kamala Harris apparently has a morbid New Year’s resolution: kill moire babies in abortions.
Just one day after Americans finished celebrating New Year’s Day, Kamala Harris took to Twitter and promised she would fight for more abortions in 2023.
“In 2023, we will continue the fight for reproductive rights. It’s time Congress pass the Women’s Health Protection Act,” Harris promised.
That’s the bill that would legalize abortions on demand nationwide up to birth. The bill would:
Eliminate all state and federal parental consent laws in relation to abortion
Eliminate all state informed consent laws, including those that allow women to view an ultrasound prior to abortion
Prevent states from passing laws to protect babies at 20 weeks, thereby joining countries like North Korea, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Canada, and the Netherlands in not protecting unborn children later in development
Force doctors and nurses opposed to abortion to lose their jobs, and Catholic hospitals could lose public funds unless they perform abortions
Eliminate decades-long limitations on direct taxpayer funding of abortion – including the popular Hyde Amendment, which has saved more than 2 million lives since enacted
In short, the legislation would overturn all federal and state pro-life laws and make it illegal for elected officials to even introduce pro-life legislation.
Harris’ abortion advocacy is no surprise given that she spent the second half of 2022 promoting abortions after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Last October, Harris called on Congress to pass a national law to legalize abortion on demand during a meeting Tuesday marking 100 days since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Since the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health ruling, 15 states have banned abortions and eight more are fighting in court to do so. But the Biden administration and other Democrat leaders have been working to thwart these life-saving efforts.
During a meeting with President Joe Biden and a pro-abortion task force, Harris claimed the Dobbs ruling has created a “health care crisis” and lawmakers must act to make abortions legal nation-wide again, according to the Washington Times.
“It is important for everyone to know what is at stake,” Harris said, noting the upcoming election, the AP reports. “To stop and reverse these attacks on women, we need to pass such a national law. And so we need the American people to make their voices heard, and take a stand on the rights of all women to exercise their choice to have access to reproductive healthcare.”
Fortunately, with Republicans capturing the House, the radical pro-abortion bill has no chance of getting Congressional approval.
