Democrat-run states like Oregon are actively encouraging women to kill their own children in abortions.

On Monday, Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum launched a new abortion hotline to provide free legal advice and referrals to abortion facilities for anyone in or out of state who wants an abortion, the Associated Press reports.

Rosenblum’s announcement made it clear that the initiative especially is directed toward women in neighboring Idaho, which protects unborn babies by banning abortions.

“The hotline will fill an important need in our state for callers to understand the status of our reproductive health laws, including issues related to abortion access,” she said in a statement. “This is especially important because we share a border with Idaho, which has a near-total abortion ban.”

According to the report, callers will be connected to an Oregon lawyer for free legal advice within 48 hours and be provided with contact information for abortion facilities and pro-abortion groups that help pay travel costs, meals and other expenses to help women abort their unborn babies.

The legal advice only pertains to Oregon law, which, Rosenblum’s office bragged, has “no gestational limits, no waiting periods, and medication abortion (abortion pills) can be accessed by mail. Immigration status or ability to pay does not prevent someone from accessing abortion in Oregon.” In other words, abortions also are taxpayer-funded.

The state Department of Justice and the Tonkon Torp law firm are leading the new project, but other law firms also are involved, including: Markowitz Herbold, Perkins Coie, Stoel Rives, McDowell Rackner Gibson and Pickett Dummigan McCall, according to the department.

Molly Honore, a lawyer with Markowitz Herbold, told the AP that they expect to receive questions primarily from women in states where abortions are illegal. However, Honore said they plan to answer questions from abortion workers, too.

Democrat leaders in New York and Delaware recently launched similar abortion hotlines in their states, the AP reports. These states and others also are dumping tens of millions of dollars into training more abortionistscreating grants for abortion facilities to increase security, paying travel expenses for women to abort their unborn babies and more.

In contrast, pro-life advocates and lawmakers are ramping up efforts to help pregnant and parenting families in need. Pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes are expanding housing, financial, material and emotional support for families, and many pro-life Republican-led states are working to expand Medicaid for new mothers and babies.
