A stunt-man known as the “Pro-Life Spiderman” has been drawing attention to abortion violence against unborn babies by climbing some of the tallest buildings in the country.

On Tuesday, Maison Des Champs, a 22-year-old college student at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, climbed to the top of the 844-foot tall Devon Tower in Oklahoma City, KFOR reports. The 50-story building is the tallest in Oklahoma.

“I am a rock climber that has recently started climbing skyscrapers to end abortion,” Des Champs wrote on his website Prolifespiderman.com.

The Daily Mail reports Des Champs climbed the building without safety gear, and performed similar stunts at the Salesforce Tower in San Francisco and the New York Times building in May. He video-streamed his climb Tuesday on Instagram.

Oklahoma City Police said he faces a trespassing complaint.

Des Champs said his goal is to raise awareness and support for the pro-life movement now that it appears the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade this summer.

“Last month I began climbing skyscrapers in protest of Dr. Cesare Santangelo and his involvement in the abortions of five late-term babies, in Washington D.C.,” he said on his website. “Within one week I scaled three towers in three cities across the country. My goal has been to raise awareness about the injustice of abortion.”

He encouraged people to donate to Let Them Live, a pro-life charity that provides financial and emotional support to help mothers choose life for their babies.

“We’re not trying to yell at women who want to have an abortion, we don’t want to blame them…” Des Champs said. “We just want to let them know there are other options.”

Through the stunts, he said he hopes to raise $1,000,000 for pro-life charities and inspire other young adults to speak out against abortion.

An experienced rock climber, Des Champs said he believes climbing skyscrapers is a creative and effective way that he can peacefully protest for the rights of unborn babies.

All of the donations he receives go to organizations that help “pregnant women who are in need of housing, medical care, food, or adoption services,” he said. “Truly the most special thing about this mission is being able to help others and save the lives of innocent babies.”
