An Oklahoma Republican candidate slammed the abortion chain Planned Parenthood as “the true face of white supremacy” in a campaign ad this week.

T.W. Shannon, who is black, is running for U.S. Senate. In a new ad, the pro-life Republican described Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger as a “vile racist” while mourning for the 400,000 black babies who are aborted every year in America, Fox News reports.

“I think every person in America should be distancing themselves and canceling the Democrat Party,” Shannon said. “The truth is 400,000 black babies are killed every year in partnership with Planned Parenthood, abortion, the abortion industry and the Democratic Party. That’s just a reality. That’s not, you know, T.W. Shannon’s opinion. That’s a fact.”

The former Oklahoma House speaker said he believes Planned Parenthood would be a target of cancel culture if it wasn’t so politically connected.

“Their founder was a vile eugenicist who wanted to exterminate black people. That’s just the reality,” Shannon told Fox News. “In this day of where Democrats want to cancel everybody who’s ever been associated with anything evil, or ever been associated with anything that even appears to not be politically correct … there was a woman who created an organization to exterminate black people.”

Sanger founded Planned Parenthood more than 100 years ago to advance her beliefs that some human beings are less valuable than others. She described them as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” and “spawning … human beings who never should have been born” in her book “Pivot of Civilization.”

She also wrote about getting rid of people with diseases and disabilities through sterilization and segregation, describing them as “morons” and “a dead weight of human waste.”

In a 1939 letter to a friend, Sanger wrote, “We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population.” She even spoke to a KKK gathering in 1926.

Today, Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the U.S., aborting more than 350,000 unborn babies a year while reporting billion-dollar revenues.

Shannon told Fox News that he believes there is no group “more racist” than Planned Parenthood, and Americans need to be more aware of its history.

In his ad, he pointed out how “400,000 black babies [are] killed every year since Roe v. Wade,” and their lives matter.

“Don’t tell me black lives matter until these lives matter,” Shannon said at the end of his ad.

Since abortion became legal nation-wide in 1973, an estimated 20 million unborn black babies have been aborted in America. Research indicates the abortion industry specifically targets African American mothers and their unborn babies for abortions, and the abortion rate among black women is almost five times higher than among white women.
