There are no lows to which the media won’t stoop to vilify President Trump and his supporters. Leading up to Tuesday’s election, The View hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar even compared Trump supporters to Ku Klux Klan killers.

On Monday’s show, the hosts had a meltdown over Trump supporters following a Joe Biden campaign bus in Texas over the weekend. After warning about how dangerous it was, Whoopi fretted the scene reminded her of the “Mississippi Burning” FBI case where the KKK orchestrated the ambush and murders of three civil rights activists in 1964 (a film about the horrific case was made in 1988). “That looked like a scene out of Mississippi Burning. You know, when trucks, or when trucks and cars surrounded people who are trying to drive. It was really freaky to see,” she fretted.

SIGN THE PLEDGE: I’m Voting for President Donald Trump!

After playing a clip of President Trump expressing support towards the caravan, Whoopi scolded, “You really are lucky that you didn’t get anybody killed talking this way, sir.” She went on to claim Biden supporters aren’t violent, (boarded up liberal cities might not support that theory):

With what I’ve been seeing, his supporters have given me a flashback as I said and when they talk about, we think there’s going to be some issues happening, you know, who do they think is going to start this? I haven’t seen Biden flags trapping anybody. I haven’t seen any — Am I crazy guys? When you saw this caravan, did you remind you of a ’50s thing as well?

Joy Behar agreed with her comparison that Trump supporters were like the KKK ready to ambush and murder Biden campaign workers. “Yes, that was very reminiscent of what you were talking about Mississippi Burning. And no, you don’t see Biden people doing that. Biden’s people, the protesters are tear gassed as a matter of fact,” she scoffed.

This isn’t the first time this year the show has compared Trump supporters to racist murdering klansmen of the past.

Co-host Sunny Hostin added fuel to the fire with unsubstantiated claims:

I saw the fact that Trump has emboldens bigots and racists to come out from under their rocks. I mean, before we knew this kind of bigotry and racism and anger and hatred existed in the country of course, it was taboo to behave this way. He has emboldened them. He calls them patriots after an incident like this and when you learn more about the incident, you know, these were heavily armed people brandishing weapons in their trucks. They outnumbered police officers, 50 to 1….

This allegation about brandishing weapons came from Democrat activist’s tweets and hasn’t been verified as fact; even the liberal Snopes admitted this. Hostin’s hysterical rant ended with a nonsensical claim that America’s racism is a result of electing Barack Obama:

I also started thinking about the Black Panthers and when they were in California at a state building, with their legal weapons, they were arrested and the laws were changed because of it. Yet, these people who are terrorizing others are called patriots by the President of the United States. And I say to people, do you want four more years of this? We’re on the eve of an election, do you want more four more years of bigotry, racism and hatred? Approved by the administration, by the President of the United States. Because that is what has been happening over the past four years and this is direct — this is in direct relation to the country having elected a black president. That’s what this is about. Pure and simple. It’s about racism, hatred and bigotry.
